Payment reports and reconciliation

Reconciliation means matching exported tips to what landed in your balance and what you paid out — including the hold period before tips become available.

The short answer

Reconciliation means matching exported tips to your available balance and payout history, accounting for the hold period before tips mature.

Hold period

Tips often stay pending for a few days while card processing completes. Only matured tips move to available for payout.

Statuses to watch

Succeeded, pending, refunded, disputed, and charged back each affect balances differently. Your export and dashboard should tell the same story.

Common misconceptions

  • Reconciliation does not require accounting software integration — a CSV plus payout history is enough to start.

  • Tips do not appear in your available balance the instant they are paid — a short hold period is normal.
